Community Volunteer Summit

We have a beautiful community. Many groups and nonprofit organizations work hard to make it that way. Would you lend a hand?

Well that’s why the Laurel Ridge School Council Presents the:

Community Volunteer Summit

7 pm, Tuesday, April 13th, Laurel Ridge Elem. School

The idea is simple: If we bring you together with nonprofit organizations; our beloved neighborhood will benefit.
On April 13th at 7 pm at Laurel Ridge Elementary, the Laurel Ridge School Council is hosting a number of nonprofit organizations. Come to the summit and give us your input, help us improve our neighborhood.

In addition to putting us all in a room together, we would like to:
• Create a census of talents and skills residents like you would like to offer
• Lay the groundwork for a Laurel Ridge Foundation

We’d like to have a charitable foundation that can give to causes in our area. Can you help us put it together? Is there a cause you want us to consider?
• Cross-pollinate between nonprofit community organizations
Do you know of any non-profit groups in our community that need volunteers or can provide volunteer opportunities? Ask them to send a representative to the summit.

Contact Rob Williams for more information.
